Packages Audience Process Specs FAQ
Who reads Courtelier
Courtelier is editorial-first, addressed to people who play padel and care about the sport's culture, business, gear, places and people. We are a new publication: we are building an audience and we will publish hard metrics here as they become real. Until then, what we can offer is editorial quality, clean placement, direct relationships and our undivided attention.
Our register is the European and global padel scene with strong UK coverage. We expect a reader profile of:
- Active players, typically several sessions per week, often spending on equipment, lessons and travel for the sport
- Club operators, coaches and federation people across the UK, Spain, Italy, Sweden, the UAE and beyond
- Brand and agency teams at racquet manufacturers, club groups, equipment retailers and travel companies
- Padel-curious lifestyle readers from adjacent racquet sports

Sponsored content and editorial partnerships
For brand-funded long-form, video partnerships, event coverage, club series or destination features we work on a case-by-case basis. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled, written by Courtelier editors or by writers we commission, and produced separately from our news desk.
We will say no to commissions that conflict with editorial coverage. We will say no to brand campaigns where we cannot meet the brief honestly. This is how the magazine stays worth reading.
How to book
- Get in touch. Email hello@courtelier.com or use the contact form with subject "Advertising". Include the package you are interested in, target dates, and a one-line summary of what you are advertising.
- Reply within one working day. Our advertising contact replies with availability and any editorial fit questions.
- Sign-off and creative. Once dates are agreed, we send a one-page agreement. You return signed creative and copy. We can produce native creative for you if you prefer.
- Go live. Standard creative lead time is five working days before flight start. Native creative needs ten working days.
- Report. At the end of each flight we share simple impression and click numbers, plus a qualitative note on how the campaign sat alongside our editorial.

- Static images: JPEG, PNG or GIF, sRGB, <200 KB per asset.
- HTML5: GreenSock or vanilla HTML/JS, <150 KB initial load. No auto-play audio. No expanding panels that obscure content.
- Click-through URL must be HTTPS. We append a UTM source by default for your tracking.

- Native creative is marked Advertisement in the same eyebrow position as our editorial categories. There is no way to hide this label.
FAQ
- Do you accept programmatic, retargeting pixels or behavioural ad targeting?
- No. Every placement is sold direct and lives on first-party infrastructure. We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4 for first-party site analytics, with reader consent. That is the only analytics on the site.
- Will my campaign affect your editorial coverage?
- No. Advertising and editorial are decided separately. Sponsored content, when it appears, is clearly labelled. We will tell you in advance if a story we are working on is likely to appear alongside your campaign and you can choose to pause for that flight.
- Can I sponsor a specific category or article?
- Category sponsorship: yes, on a quarter-by-quarter basis. Article-level sponsorship: only for sponsored content produced under that arrangement. We will not retroactively attach a brand to an existing editorial piece.
- How will I know the campaign is performing?
- Honest impression and click numbers shared at flight end. We are too small to offer real-time dashboards, and we are deeply suspicious of vanity-metric reporting at our stage. We would rather under-report and tell you the truth.
